There’s a new trend emerging in terms of baby names, and it has to do with social media.

An American family has named their baby daughter, “Hashtag.”

Ironically, the parents announced her arrival Saturday night on Facebook and not on Twitter.  

The news prompted a flood of tweets. Some claimed this is a prank, while others noted the baby will always be “trending.”
