Police in Halton Region have charged a Burlington woman with defrauding her employer – a cosmetic company – of more than $700,000.

The woman, 56, worked at Ask Cosmetics as Vice President from 2005 until 2009.

Investigators allege she defrauded the company during that time.

She faces four counts of fraud over $5,000, and one count of possession of proceeds from crime.
