TORONTO, Ont. – Mayor Rob Ford’s Don Bosco Eagles were defeated 28-14 in the school’s first-ever Metro Bowl in a match-up against Newmarket’s Huron Heights Warriors.
Shortly after the loss, a tweet posted on the official account for Ford congratulated the Warriors on their win.

The Eagles rallied in the second half with a touchdown, but could not make a comeback.
Ford told reporters that he will return to coach the Eagles next year.
The Metro Bowl was the final match-up at the Rogers Centre after four earlier games facilitated by the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations.
