Rob Ford’s lawyer has filed a notice of appeal and a request for a stay after a judge’s decision to oust him from office for breaking conflict of interest rules. The order for a stay will be heard on Dec. 5, and his appeal will go before a judge on Jan. 7, 2013. If the stay is granted, Ford would remain as mayor until the appeal process is completed. On Tuesday, Rob Ford addressed the media to make an announcement regarding the conflict of interest ruling.
