Cyber Monday has become another holiday tradition, with a record number of Canadians and Americans set to go online for their shopping fix.     

BMO predicts 44 per cent of Canadian shoppers will buy something online Monday.

Atlantic Canada leads the way at 56 per cent.  

In the U.S., Cyber Monday sales are expected to top 2011′s record $1.25-billion worth of spending by as much as 20 per cent.   

U.S. Black Friday online sales rose 26 per cent surpassing the $1-billion mark for the first time.

A record 247-million Americans went shopping on Friday.
