Police in St. Lucia said they’ve arrested a man in the death of a 75-year-old Canadian man Colin Peter.

On Monday they announced the arrest of a 26-year-old suspect, police have not released the suspect’s name as he has not been charged with anything yet.

Peter was walking along a beach with his wife on Nov. 15 when he was beaten and robbed in broad daylight. He died of his injuries four days later.

Peter was visiting from Prince Edward Island.

He was on the island researching a relative who was once a major local businessman.
