TORONTO, Ont. – Three people in their 20s are in hospital, one with life-threatening injuries, after a single-vehicle crash in Scarborough.
Police say a car smashed into a pole just before 10 p.m. Saturday on Kennedy Road, just south of Lawrence Avenue.
Reports indicate one of the people in the vehicle, a 23-year-old man, suffered serious injuries.
A 24-year-old man and 21-year-old woman, meanwhile, are reported to be in stable condition.
All three of the victims were transported to Sunnybrook Hospital.
Kennedy Road was shut down in both directions as police investigated. There has been no word yet on a possible cause of the crash.
