Mississauga police officers with the Peel Regional Street Crime Gang Unit executed three search warrants in the last week at residences in Mississauga. While the cases are unrelated, a number of individuals are facing a variety of drug related charges.

On November 16, investigators executed of a search warrant on Bancroft Drive in Mississauga, that resulted in the seizure of 18 ounces of cocaine, and 17.5 ounces of marijuana.

Kevin Thiessen, 19, of Simcoe, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was released on an appearance notice.  

Kevin Cuoto, 27, of Mississauga, was charged with trafficking a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.  He was released on a promise to appear.

Matthew Pascoal, 24, years of Toronto is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was released on a promise to appear.

On Nov. 19, investigators arrested a male for drug trafficking in the Lakeshore Road East area of Mississauga. A search warrant was executed at a residence on Garnetwood Chase in Mississauga. In total, 2.9 ounces of cocaine, 6.9 grams of crack, and 5 grams of marijuana were seized.

Derek Rose, 20, and Anthony Budram, 19, years of Mississauga were charged with several drug trafficking related offences. Both have been held in custody for a bail hearing.

Tyler Coolen, 23, of Mississauga is charged with trafficking a controlled substance, and assault with intent to resist arrest. He was released on a promise to appear.

On November 21, investigators executed a search warrant at an apartment on Absolute Avenue in Mississauga. Approximately three ounces of cocaine, 20 grams of crack cocaine and over 100 rounds of 9mm ammunition were seized from the home.

A 17-year old female young offender was arrested at the residence and she is charged with several drug trafficking offences. Police are also seeking an adult male in this investigation, although his identity is unknown at this time.
