HALIFAX, NB — Premier Dalton McGuinty was in Halifax, Thursday, for his last meeting with his provincial counterparts before officially stepping down as premier in January.
Bank of Canada Governor, Mark Carney, will be at the two-day meeting to update the premiers in the central bank’s outlook for the Canadian and global economies.
McGuinty slammed Prime Minister Stephen Harper for not attending the event despite being invited.
