NEW YORK – The NHL Players’ Association is expected to table a new proposal Wednesday when collective bargaining talks resume in New York.

The NHL is waiting for the union to present a full proposal with key issues covered.

Deputy commissioner Bill Daly said the league has yet to be presented with a full proposal.

Sportsnet hockey analyst Scott Morrison wants to know when the entire season will be wiped out.

“Nobody knows what 11:59 is for the owners either,” he said. “There is a real, strong sentiment that it’s going to be much earlier than it was in 2004 so the pressure point maybe isn’t that far away.”

Sources say the league will announce it is cancelling all games in the first two weeks of December, bringing the total number of games cancelled so far to 400.
