TORONTO, Ont. – A single-vehicle crash on Eastern Avenue sent two women to hospital Tuesday.
The vehicle crashed into a pole around 3:30 a.m. near Eastern and Broadview avenues.
Paramedics transported a 24-year-old woman to hospital with a critical head injury and a 23-year-old woman with neck and back pain.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Broadview and Eastern avenues is expected to be closed until at least 9 a.m.
