VAUGHAN, Ont. – A man was taken to hospital following a violent home invasion in Vaughan early Tuesday morning.
York region police said four masked men armed with guns confronted the man around 4:30 a.m. in the Kleinburg home on Treelawn Boulevard, near Islington Avenue and Teston Road.
A woman was inside the home at the time.
The man was assaulted and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A canine unit was brought in to assist with the search for four suspects.
