TORONTO, Ont. – Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi waded in Monday with a friendly wager on the centennial Grey Cup via Twitter to his Toronto counterpart Mayor Rob Ford.
The 100th Grey Cup will be the Toronto Argonauts versus the Calgary Stampeders on Sunday at the Rogers Centre, the Argonauts’ home turf.
Nenshi proposed that the loser donate his weight in food to the winning city’s food bank and don the jersey of the opposing city’s team during a city council meeting.
The loser donating their weight in food to the winner’s food bank. Plus jersey swap for a council mtg. What say you, @tomayorford? #mayorbet

Ford tweeted his acceptance to the challenge, adding that Nenshi would “look great in Argo blue!”
