TORONTO, Ont. – TTC commissioners will soon vote on whether to put bullet-proof glass on their toll-collector booths.
The move comes after TTC collector William Anderson was shot at Dupont Station back in February.
The Toronto Sun reports that the move, which will cost an estimated $1.5 million, is up for vote on Wednesday.
TTC Chair Karen Stintz has said she supports the enhancement, which would add extra security for the toll collectors.
