One of the most anticipated games of the year hits store shelves, Tuesday.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II, the latest entry in the series, has a lot to live up to because the original is the best-selling video game of all time.

Black Ops I sold 25-million copies worldwide, making more than $1-billion. It also sold 5.6-million copies in the first 24 hours.

Jay Puryear, who worked on Black Opps 2, told Sportsnet 590 The Fan’s video game show, “Got Game,” there will also be a big focus on the bad guy.

“One of our other ambitions was to create a most memorable villain in the ‘Call of Duty,’ and working with David Goyer, who helped write the Dark Knight, really gives this sense of being able to see it through the villain’s eyes,” Puryear said.
