TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto has unofficially broken a temperature record for Monday.

As of noon, the temperature reached 19 C at Pearson, exceeding the previous record high of 18.9 C set on this day in 1964.

On Sunday, the city broke the Nov. 11 temperature record, beating the previous high of 17.2 C set in 1938.

But this warmer weather will not last for long. The forecast calls for showers Monday evening with a cool down expected later in the day.
