Peel Regional Police will kick off its annual “Toys for Tots” campaign on Tuesday.
Special events are planned in both Brampton, Ont., and Mississauga.
The campaign is accepting cash, Canadian Tire money, as well as new, unwrapped toys November-December.
In 2011, $965,000 was raised and 6,000 children in need got to open a gift on Christmas morning.
