CALABOGIE, Ont. – Provincial police are investigating the discovery of human remains in a wooded area in eastern Ontario, about 100 kilometres west of Ottawa.
Police say they were called to a location about four kilometres west of Calabogie (near Norton Road) in Greater Madawaska Township on Sunday afternoon.
Police say the remains have not been identified pending a post-mortem examination.
Investigators are treating the death as suspicious.
