There was a bit of a scare for a furnace repairman in Oshawa, after he found a live hand grenade while doing maintenance work in a home.
The Durham Police Tactical Unit responded, Wednesday, and called in a military team who determined it was a fully functional grenade from WWII.
The homeowner said it belonged to her late father who was a war veteran.
No charges were laid.
