MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – One woman was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Mississauga Wednesday night.
Ontario Provincial Police said a vehicle travelling westbound on Hwy. 403 near Mavis Road darted right when it struck a pick-up truck parked on the shoulder of the road, propelling two construction workers from the vehicle around 9 p.m.
The female driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition. She succumbed to her injuries in hospital, police said.
The two construction workers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The westbound lanes of Hwy. 403 near Mavis Road were shut down for several hours as police investigated.
