TORONTO, Ont. – A lack of U.S. citizenship did not deter Torontonians on city streets from “casting” their vote in the election south of the border.

A prevailing theme at Yonge and Dundas streets four more years for President Barack Obama.

“I think four years wasn’t enough to really prove himself so I hope that he wins,” one woman said.

“Now is the time for global leaders to work together, and Obama is obviously that collaborative person,” one man said.

“I really hope that Obama wins, just in terms of the change he has done for the country,” another woman said.

At King and Bay streets, Republican Mitt Romney swept the vote.

“I see Romney trying to improve the United States from a global perspective,” one man said.

“I’m a fan of the Keystone pipeline so you can probably assume based on that,” another man said.
