TORONTO, Ont. – The 15-year-old boy who is accused of a series of sexual assaults near Christie Pitts over the summer made a brief court appearance, Tuesday morning.
The judge ruled he must spend at least one more month in custody before his next bail hearing.
The boy, who last month was charged with 16 offences, now faces two additional charges which were filed on Monday.
Outside the court, the boy’s lawyer told thestar.com that he would be surprised if his client does not get bail, as he is a very young 15-year-old who is more naive and scared than street-smart.
