MALTON, Ont. – Peel Regional Police have identified the victim of a homicide in Malton Thursday night.
Dwayne Alexander Thompson, 32, was found on Darcel Avenue near Morning Star Drive around 10:30 p.m. after police received several calls reporting gunshots being fired.
Investigators believe a group of males is connected to the homicide but no descriptions are available.
Police were searching for a 2007 Nissan Altima that belonged to the victim. The vehicle was located Friday evening.
No arrests have been made.
