MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – A woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries following an attempted home invasion in Mississauga Wednesday night.
Peel police said four males knocked on the door of a home on Turney Drive in the Britannia Road West and Erin Mills Parkway area at 9:30 p.m.
A woman answered the door, but a struggle ensued and a shot was fired into the floor, police said.
The males fled and nothing was taken from the home.
The woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
