TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have identified the man killed in an early Monday morning shooting in the city’s Lawrence Heights area.
Officers found Marvin Engelbrecht, 24, of Toronto, suffering from a gunshot wound shortly after midnight on Flemington Road in the Lawrence Avenue West and Allen Road area. He was taken to hospital where he died.
A post-mortem examination determined that Engelbrecht died of a gunshot wound to the head, police said.
