TORONTO, Ont. – A 52-year-old man is expected to recover from injuries to the groin after he sustained bites from his pet American bulldog, Tuesday night.
The incident took place at an apartment building in the Davenport and Avenue Road area.
The Toronto Star reported the victim lost one of his testicles following the attack.
Police told 680News they do not know the circumstances which provoked the dog to bite the man and an investigation is underway.
The dog, meanwhile, has been removed from the owner and placed under quarantine for 10 days.
