Halton regional police are hunting for the man who stole a box of epidural IV bags from Milton district hospital in Georgetown.

It happened over the noon hour on Monday in the hospital’s pharmacy.

The box contained ten 250 millilitre IV bags with a mixture of powerful drugs normally used during child birth.

An epidural is never injected into the bloodstream and police fear the drugs could be deadly if sold on the street.

The suspect was caught on hospital surveillance video.
