TORONTO, Ont. – Superstorm Sandy grounded one-quarter of flights scheduled to depart from Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday.
Flights heading into and out of Pearson Airport to areas in the United States expected to be hit by the storm have been cancelled or delayed.
Porter Airlines has cancelled all flights to and from Newark, Washington and Boston for Monday and Tuesday due to Sandy. Air Canada has also cancelled Monday’s flights to those areas.
Travellers are being advised to check the status of their flight ahead of time.
