A woman has been seriously after a home invasion in Ajax.

The incident happened Friday evening at a house on Mandrake Street, near Harwood Avenue and Highway 401.

The woman was stabbed several times during the invasion, before eventually being rushed to hospital.

A young child home at the house was unharmed.

According to police it was not a random act, and they’re searching for two white male suspects.
