TORONTO, Ont. – While, for the fourth week straight, there was no big winner in the Lotto Max draw, six winning MaxMillions tickets were sold in Ontario.
Twenty-nine of the fifty available MaxMillions prizes of $1 million were won, with six sold in Ontario, nine sold in Western Canada, four in Quebec and one in Atlantic Canada.
The remaining prizes will be split among shared ticket-holders in Western Canada.
The jackpot for next week’s Lotto Max will remain at $50 million while there will be another 50 MaxMillions prizes available.
It is the largest lottery offering in the country.
In July, a ticket holder in Quebec won the $50-million jackpot. At the time, Lotto Max set a new Canadian lottery record with a total of $100-million in prizes.
Since its launch in September 2009, Lotto Max players have won over $1.4-billion in prizes, including 23 jackpot wins and 140 MaxMillions tickets in Ontario.
