TORONTO, Ont. – Police say a driver involved in an early morning crash Saturday had been drinking, but not enough to lay impaired-driving charges.
The crash on the westbound Gardiner Expressway at Park Lawn Road sent the driver to hospital.
Police tell 680News his vehicle lost control and struck another vehicle, sending it into a guardrail.
The driver of the vehicle that lost control was ejected and rushed to St. Michael’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
He had his licence suspended but police stress he had not been drinking enough for a criminal impaired-driving charge.
Two others suffered minor injuries in the crash.
