TORONTO, Ont. – A woman was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a streetcar Thursday afternoon.
The victim, said to be in her 30s, was taken to a local trauma centre after the incident at St. Clair Avenue West and Oakwood Avenue shortly before 3:30 p.m.
Regular service on the 512 St. Clair streetcar resumed just before 8 p.m.
