TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have now identified a 21-year-old man who was hit by a car in the city’s west-end Tuesday evening.
Police told 680News he wasn’t carrying identification at the time. He remains in hospital in critical condition.
The man was struck while crossing to the north side of Dixon Road near Celestine Drive shortly after 7:30 p.m., Toronto police Const. Clint Stibbe told 680News.
Police said a 52-year-old man was driving westbound on Dixon Road in the passing lane approaching Celestine Drive when the victim was struck.
