BRAMPTON, Ont. – Peel police are investigating the discovery of a woman’s body at Professor’s Lake in Brampton, Ont.
Investigators have recovered the body and have not found any signs of trauma, but the case will be treated as suspicious until an autopsy – scheduled for Tuesday – reveals the cause of death.
Police told 680News a passerby spotted the woman’s body in the lake, located in the Bovaird Drive East and Torbram Road area.
Her age is not known.
No other details have been released.
