TORONTO, Ont. – The Greater Toronto Airports Authority will be conducting an emergency exercise at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Saturday.
The GTAA said do not be alarmed if you see emergency vehicles and personnel in and around the airport as it is an exercise only.
The exercise will involve a downed airplane.
Every year, the GTAA runs one full-scale exercise to test protocols, procedures and communication for emergency and security-related incidents.
