A Canadian man has been kidnapped in Afghanistan by Taliban gunmen, according to unconfirmed reports.
The reports also say an American woman was also abducted.
They were reportedly taken captive from a highway, where they were driving to Kabul.
It’s not clear yet if either of them were injured.
Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada has confirmed to 680News that it is aware of the reports.
Officials are investigating.
Canada does have a travel advisory warning people not to go to Afghanistan due to the danger facing foreigners.
