CHICAGO – Police in Chicago say an Ontario truck driver has been killed there during a robbery.
Local media have identified the victim as 39-year-old Gary Clark.
According to the reports, Clark worked for the Mississauga-based Aberstar Fast Freight and was in Chicago on a delivery.
Police say he was approached by several robbers Tuesday night and suffered a gunshot wound to the right hip.
Clark was found dead inside the cabin of his truck.
His employer told U.S. media that Clark had planned on heading back to Canada Wednesday morning.
No arrests have been made.
