BRAMPTON, Ont. – The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a man fell 20 feet off a ladder while working in Brampton, Wednesday.
It happened around 11 a.m. inside the General Kinetics Engineering Corporation, a motor vehicle parts and accessories office located at 110 East Drive in the Steeles and Bramalea Road area.
The man, said to be in his 40′s, has now been upgraded to serious from life-threatening condition.
The case is not likely to result in criminal charges, Peel police constable Thomas Ruttan told 680News.
“If there’s no criminality, then [the Ministry of Labour] take over the investigation from the labourer’s standpoint,” Ruttan explained.
