TORONTO, Ont. – Police are investigating after they allege a 14-year-old who took the family car for a joyride Tuesday morning crashed into the side of a home.
The teen crashed into the side of a house on Chrysler Crescent, near Victoria Park and Lawrence avenues, around 4:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported and there was minimal damage to the car and home.
The teen has been released from custody to their parents, although police have not specified what charges they will face.
The investigation continues and anyone with information is being asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
