Peel police have lifted the precautionary hold-and-secure at three Brampton schools after parents reported seeing several young men with a gun.

Anges Taylor Public School, Central Peel S.S. and Madoc Drive Public School in Brampton were originally under the hold-and-secure, but it has been lifted as police say there is no longer a threat to student safety.

Officers scoured the area surrounding the school in an attempt to find the weapon or teens involved, but nothing out of the ordinary was found.
