TORONTO, Ont. – Members of the Downsview Park Merchants Market are getting in the Thanksgiving spirit.
The market will give away 300 turkeys to needy families Sunday.
The give-away will start at noon at 40 Carl Hill, near Keele Street and Sheppard Avenue, in Downsview.
The turkeys will be given away on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Families in need will also receive a bag of potatoes and a can of cranberry sauce.
