GEORGINA, Ont. – One person is dead and two others, including an infant, injured following a collision between a tractor trailer and a car north of Toronto in Georgina on Friday.
A tractor trailer collided with a vehicle on Ravenshoe Road east of Woodbine Avenue just before 1 p.m.
A woman, said to be in her 30s, died at the scene.
A second woman was airlifted to St. Michael’s Hospital with serious injuries and the infant was taken to a local hospital.
The roadway is expected to be shut down for several hours.
