TORONTO, Ont. – A Toronto man is facing charges of aggravated assault following a double stabbing in the city’s west-end.
The incident occurred shortly after 4 a.m. on Friday at Dundas Street West and Howland Street.
The accused stabbed a woman, said to be in her 60s, and a man, said to be in his 30s.
The victims were taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Michael Lawrence, 24, is facing three weapon-related charges and two counts of aggravated assault. He is also charged with possession of marijuana.
