TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have charged a 22-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault on a TTC bus.
Police said a man engaged a 19-year-old woman in conversation while on the bus in the Coxwell Avenue and O’Connor Drive area Wednesday morning, and then allegedly sexually assaulted her.
The woman said she moved seats to avoid the man, but he followed her and sat directly behind her. Police said she was then sexually assaulted again.
Jubair Ahmed, 22, has been charged with sexual assault.
Police believe there may be more victims.
