TORONTO, Ont. – A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle at Brimley and Kingston roads on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the boy was crossing Kingston Road from the south side to the north side at around 2:45 p.m. when he was struck.
The boy was unconscious when paramedics arrived at the scene.
Witnesses told CityNews that the boy is a student at Blessed Cardinal Newman Catholic School.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
Police have not laid any charges.
