Toronto Police have released new photos of the city’s 39th and 40th murder victims of the year, after some of their clothing items went missing.
In the early morning hours of September 18, Warsame and Suleiman Ali, both 26, were fatally shot in the Jamestown and John Garland Boulevard area.
Investigators say security images just before his death show Warsame wearing a light-blue Nike Air Jordan, three-quarter-sleeved T-shirt with two horizontal white stripes at the elbows. This T-shirt is missing.
Other images show Suleiman wearing a light hooded sweatshirt with the word ‘VANS” in large letters across the front. This sweatshirt is also missing.
Police hope the public can help find both shirts, and anyone with information is asked to contact them at 416-808-7400, or use Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), online at www.222tips.com, or text TOR and your message to CRIMES (274637).
