Two men wanted in a sexual assault and forcible confinement case in Nova Scotia may be travelling in Ontario, according to the RCMP.

The RCMP said the suspects may be travelling in a 2003 grey Hyundai Elantra with Nova Scotia licence plate FBP 233 or a 2002 brown Chevrolet Venture van with licence plate EZG 581.

Police are searching for  David James LeBlanc, 47, and Wayne Alan Cunningham, 31, for the incident in Upper Chelsea, which is about 130 kilometres southwest of Halifax.

A teenaged boy went to a house on Monday evening and the homeowner said the boy had chains wrapped around his wrists and ankles, the RCMP said.

The boy has been treated for non life-threatening injuries and police said he’s in a safe place.
