TORONTO, Ont. – A woman is recovering from serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, after being hit by a car in the city’s east end, Wednesday.
Police said the woman was hit when two vehicles collided on Brimley Road, at Mandarin Road — near St. Clair Avenue East — at around 9 a.m.
One driver took off from the scene, but that person has now been tracked down by police and charged.
An 18-month-old girl was the only other person injured, and she sustained a ratch to her head.
