TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police arrested a 57-year-old man in connection with a west-end robbery on Monday.

Police said the accused, disguised with a gas mask, entered a bank on St. Clair Avenue West on Monday with a replica long-barrel firearm.

The accused allegedly pointed it at the bank teller and handed her a garbage bag.

The accused left the bank with an unknown quantity of money.

Police executed a search warrant at the home of the accused and seized an undisclosed quantity of money and an imitation firearm.

Alan Peter Differ of Toronto has been charged with robbery, disguise with intent and use of an imitation firearm.
