MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Peel Regional Police have arrested a Toronto man in connection with a shooting in Mississauga that left a tow truck driver injured.
According to police, the tow truck driver, 34, met with two colleagues at Hurontario Street and Britannia Road in Mississauga just after 5:40 p.m. on June 9.
When the victim refused a tow to a man, the accused returned approximately 20 minutes later and allegedly shot the victim in the leg, police said.
The victim, a Brampton resident, was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Robert Quinn, 32, of Toronto, has been charged with aggravated assault and faces several firearm-related charges.
